South Etobicoke residents are being urged to attend an upcoming GTAA meeting to question a proposal one group has characterized as having the potential to bring “significant and permanent” increases in air traffic to their lakefront communities.

The Alderwood Airplane Noise group is calling on neighbours from Long Branch, Markland Wood, New Toronto and Mimico to attend the GTAA’s Community Environment and Noise Advisory Committee (CENAC) meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

That meeting, which will also be live-streamed, is scheduled to take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Airport (Windsor Hall), 6257 Airport Rd. in Mississauga.
