Winterlicious, Toronto ‘s culinary program aimed at boosting the city’s restaurant industry, is on.

The wintertime prix fixe promotion, which focuses on bringing diners into eateries during a typically slow period of business, kicked off today and runs until Feb. 13.

This year’s program also includes 14 culinary events.

Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made online or by telephone directly with the restaurants.

Winterlicious offers three-course prix fixe lunch menus priced at $23, $28 and $33, and dinner for $33, $43, and $53.

"Winterlicious has become a celebration of Toronto’s reputation as a culinary hub around the world and is one of the most anticipated events of the winter season. With more than 200 participating restaurants, I encourage everyone to take part," said Toronto Mayor John Tory in a Jan. 31 release.
